AASHRAM FULL MOVIE 2020 WATCH FOR FREE ON BTECHCREATIONS

Aashram (web-series) review :

Loosely based on Baba Ram Rahim Insaan, Prakash Jha's Aashram is an ongoing web series on MX Player which refuses to climax even after two seasons of nine episodes each. Phew!!!

Bobby Deol plays Baba Nirala Kashipur wale with such a massive fan following that he almost runs a parallel Government, fixes elections and conducts all illegal activities from rape to drugs from his fortress like aashram. The web series, a slow burner, exposes the evil Baba's facade with every episode in its two seasons. 

The performances are decent - particularly Aditi Pohankar, Tridha Choudhury and Chandan Roy Sanyal are impressive. On the other hand, Adhyayan Suman is irritating as the Yo yo type rapper with his constant "Baba layenge kranti" chant. Bobby himself, doesnt quite suit the sinister godman character and a better actor could've elevated this web-series to an altogether different level.

Prakash Jha's direction is competent but his screenplay is extremely sluggish and repetitive. Those akhaada scenes as well as Baba's live concerts needed finer editing. The Aashram politics are intricately depicted at the cost of slackening the pace of the narrative. 

Even with its share of flaws, Aashram deserves a watch for its socially relevant theme. How blind faith in fake godmen can destroy an entire family may be an eye opener for many. The web-series achieves this purpose effectively.
